Venn Diagram

The purpose of my topic is to demonstrate just how little the more developed countries have in common with the lesser developed country. We have the luxury of living in a more developed country and often take for granted the things we do have. I chose this topic to give a small glimpse into the importance of the differences compared to the similarities. Also to compare how many differences there are compared to the similarities.

Favorite place-

My favorite place has a salty breeze that is refreshing. The view is never ending, dunes that stretch on for miles. There is one dune that my father and I would race to climb during every visit. The warm sand would entrap my feet slipping down as I was trying to race up. At the top you can see the entrancing Pacific, going on forever. Beneath the dunes, next to the waves were the tidepools, glistening up at us, with a turquoise water that tends to appear tropical and inviting, but I know the truth, the waters are cold, and intense, although they have a peacefulness to them as well. A half mile out from the shore is a giant rock that peeks out of the ocean, a single wilted tree on top. On nice days we would kayak out and circle around it, splashing about. Over the years franchises and hotels have developed the area and cut away from the dunes, but it is still peaceful, and it is still my favorite place.
